In this area the creation of a High Technology Park (Technopolis) is allowed in combination with facilities of higher education institutions, which is delimited, planned and organised in accordance with the provisions of Law 2545/97 (A 254) and in which new and high-tech facilities, research and educational activities, as well as service enterprises. A precondition for the above is the maintenance of a safety zone for the construction of the free avenue of Ymittos - Airport and the free avenue of Stavros Rafina, to be determined by the competent department of the Ministry of the Environment, Spatial Planning and Public Works.
